Valerie Moser, DVM
Dr. Moser graduated from Washington
State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 after obtaining her Bachelor's
degree in Animal Science. She then moved to Phoenix to practice small animal veterinary
medicine. She also served as a shelter veterinarian at the Maricopa County, Arizona shelter,
the third largest shelter in the country. Additionally, Dr. Moser helped found a
Veterinary Technology program at Anthem College in Kansas City. She joined our
hospital in 2011.
She enjoys cooking, crafts, hiking,
yoga, walks, and nearly anything having to do with the out of doors. She currently
shares her home with her Boxer, RC, two cats, Kit Kat and Feeney, and her bird
Naki.

Joanne Burns, DVM, Diplomate ACVR
Dr. Burns visits our hospital regularly as
a consulting radiologist. She reviews radiographs and ultrasounds with
the critical eye of a Board Certified Radiologist.
Dr. Burns graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary
Medicine in 1975. Dr. Burns became a Diplomate of the American College
of Veterinary Radiology in 1981. From 1981-1989 she was an Associate
Professor at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary
Medicine. Since 1991 she has been with Veterinary Imaging Services as a
consultant in the Lawrence-Kansas City area in radiology and ultrasound.
She enjoys her pets Annie, a Schnauzer and Darrell, her Quarter Horse.
