Boarding facilities: Our boarding facility provides a pleasant
“home away from home” for your pets. We have separate rooms for dogs
and cats! We offer indoor, fully heated and air-conditioned
accommodations maintained by highly trained, attentive staff.
All dogs receive at least two daily outdoor walks. We have a fenced
yard where dogs can play and exercise on-leash. Rooms are provided with
comfy blankets and runs have sleeping bunks. All canine boarders who
stay longer than four nights receive a complimentary bath before going
home. We pamper your pet with our massaging “Hydro-Surge” bathing
system (your pets walk directly into the bathing area—no lifting
involved). We complete the bath by putting them under a dryer that
gently blows warm air over them to dry their coat and keep them
comfortable.
The kitty room has toys and a scratching post. Our resident cat, Charmin, provides kitty company and
conversation. Each room has comfy blankets for sleeping.
Diet: We feed Hill’s Science diet as well as Hill’s Select
dog treats and kitty treats at no extra charge, but we recommend you bring your
own pet food and special treats. Please divide your pet’s
food into individual meals (Ziplocs work well for this) and label each
bag with their name. Please be aware that abrupt changes in
your pet’s diet can cause upset stomach and diarrhea. We also want to
make sure that your pet gets home with all personal belongings, so
please mark everything with a permanent marker.
Medication: We will be happy to administer any medications
you provide. There is a nominal charge to administer medications.
Please make sure prescription labels include the name of your pet and dosing instructions.
Vaccination and Other Requirements: All pets must be current
on vaccinations at least two weeks prior to boarding (see below). We
require that your pet has had a fecal sample checked for internal
parasites within the past year. In addition, we will check your pet for
fleas and ticks upon arrival. If parasites are found, we will treat
them and charge accordingly.
Vaccinations required: Dogs: DHPP (distemper), Rabies and Bordetella
Cats: Fvrcp (distemper), Rabies
