Lawrence Humane Society
In March of 2010, we contributed a wellness package during a charity auction in conjunction with the St. Patrick's Day Parade fundraiser to benefit the Lawrence Humane Society. It was an Adopt a Pet Package, including:
- an Adoption from the Lawrence Humane
Society
- 50 lbs of dog food from
Lawrence Feed & Farm Supply
- a $25.00 gift card to PETCO and
- a wellness package from Lawrence Veterinary Hospital
Community Service
We not only provide veterinary care for your pets, but also support the Lawrence community by providing spay and neuter services for the Lawrence Humane Society. We also participate in their annual Pawsible Dreams Auction, the Lawrence Schools Career Day and by contributing to the Kansas State University Pet Tribute. The Lawrence Humane Society voted Dr. Kraft, Lawrence’s Veterinarian of the Year in 2004!
Donations
In February of 2006, Dr. Kraft donated pet oxygen masks to the Lawrence Fire Department. Read the article in the Lawrence Journal World.

Since 1998, Lawrence Veterinary Hospital has been making contributions to the Kansas State Pet Trust in honor of our client’s deceased pets. We make contributions to four Funds: Greatest Need; Research; Education or the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital.
Pet Loss and Grief Counseling
Available only to our clients, we have grief counseling services. Because of our contributions to the K-State Pet Trust we have access to the services of Dr. Mac Hafen, Grief Counselor, Kansas State University. Call our office for more information.
